How to set up sampling

Sampling allows customers to specify the percentage of all app sessions that should be in sample. When a session is in sample, all of the events that are selected for collection in Data Pipes will be included in the sample. Session sampling can be configured on both Collectors and Connectors.

The steps below illustrate the simple process to set up sampling.

1. Navigate to the “COLLECTORS” or “CONNECTORS” tabs
   Identify a Collector or Connector for sampling.

   

2. Select a Collector or Connector 
   Look for the “Sampling” section. You can use the slider and then save changes.
