Splunk Cloud Connector

Splunk lets you analyze real-time data from a Datazoom Collector. If your streaming infrastructure is already instrumented to send data to Splunk, you can also use it to understand how infrastructure issues impact playback and how those problems appear in the viewer experience. In order to take advantage of this Connector you will need the following information:

• Event Collector URI

  • Splunk Cloud Trial version: https://inputs.<your_instance_name>.splunkcloud.com:8088

  • Splunk Cloud Paid version: https://http-inputs-<your_instance_name>.splunkcloud.com:443

• Event Collector Token - Event Collector (HEC) token setup docs

• Timestamp Type

  • Server - The Datazoom platform timestamp (default setting)

  • Client - The uncorrected timestamp observed on the client

  • Client Corrected - The client timestamp corrected to align with NTP
